These options provide flexibility based on your involvement in volleyball, whether for local participation, higher-level competitions, volunteering and other non-playing roles or for standalone events.

Membership FAQ
What are the membership fees?
Membership fees can start from $30, depending on the type of competitions you wish to be involved in. You’ll be able to view the membership fees for this year when you start the online sign up form.
Which membership should I choose?
Full Membership (Adult or U18)
For players involved in state or national competitions, including VVL, National Events, State Teams, and Australian Schools Cup.
Recreational Membership (Adult or U18)
Covers local and regional events, such as social comps, Country Champs, and regional leagues.
Spikezone & Training:
For non-competitive players joining youth programs, training academies, or SpikeZone.
Technical:
For referees and coaches participating as non-players in competitions like VVL or local leagues.
Volunteer:
For non-playing roles such as team managers, volunteers, and officials.
Short-term options are also available
Temporary Membership:
Same benefits as Full Membership, but only valid for a limited time.
Single Event Membership:
Covers a single affiliated tournament or event (best for events up to 4 days long).

What does my membership include?
All 2025/26 memberships include registration with Volleyball Victoria — required for participation in any affiliated competitions or events.
This registration also covers personal accident insurance, member protection, and child safety policies.
Can I switch between membership types later?
Yes. Memberships can be upgraded or downgraded any time in the year depending on circumstance.
Can I join competitions if I’m not a member?
No. Any player participating in competitions run by Volleyball Albury Wodonga is required to be a financial member. This is because the membership covers the cost of personal accident insurance, member protection, and child-safe policies for the individual member throughout the duration of the membership.
Do I need to be a member if I just want train?
There is a membership level for training purposes in order to cover insurance.
